Bring on the Bubbly! The PUMA x Solebox Champagne Pack Pre-Release Recap

The launch of the new PUMA x SOLEBOX CHAMPAGNE PACK was never going to be a lacklustre affair. With that in mind, we made our way over to the Solebox boutique in München, Germany to see what was going down at the pre-release event…

Taking the names involved and the title of the project, the Champagne Pack was always going to be a premium release – and what better way to celebrate the launch of such a project than invite friends and family over to the Solebox store for a glass of bubbly and a Weißwurst or two? The Blaze Of Glory that forms one half of the pack is luxurious edition of the much-loved silhouette. Draped in premium nubuck and mesh, additional leather accents and a re-engineered knit construction update the original model to new heights. Look inside and you’ll find a real cork insole featuring Solebox branding – a nice touch that echoes the theme of the project perfectly. To convey the luxurious vibe of the project, the Solebox store was the perfect venue: wooden panels (reminiscent of champagne cases), black and gold branding and mesmerising lighting throughout the space meant that the shoes were presented in truly appropriate style. Music and food eased everyone into the party vibe, with a strong selection of footwear on display from the attendees.

In the words of the collaborators, “A good champagne is a champagne you are proud of and share with your friends. But every now and then you create a great champagne. An outstanding product, perfect in every way.” And, as event launches go, this one was indeed perfect in every way!
