PUMA X THISISNEVERTHAT TRINOMIC XT2 PLUS PACK

For 2015 PUMA are selecting some interesting people and brands to collaborate with – and this time it’s the turn of up-and-coming streetwear brand THISISNEVERTHAT from South Korea.

The release sees two versions of the PUMA TRINOMIC XT2 PLUS inspired by the diversity and contrast of Seoul’s landscape. The first pair is a predominantly black make up with a mesh base, nubuck overlays, leather formstripe and rubber heel. Hits of white on the lining, heel and midsole add a stark contrast to the black upper, and, as is almost always the case, this works really well. The second pair opts for a camo mesh base, with overlays of various shades of green suede and pops of burnt sienna on the eyelet and heel. Both pairs feature dual-branded tongue labels as well as a THISISNEVERTHAT label just above the formstripe. It’s really good to see brands working with new partners and when the results are as good as this, then there doesn’t seem to be any reason why it shouldn’t continue.
