RUN THE BOROUGHS hones in on three of its East End members to explore what Tower Hamlets has to offer…

Since introducing themselves to the world earlier this year, New Balance backed running squad Run The Boroughs have moved from strength to strength in their quest to unite runners from across London; regardless of gender, age or abilities. Led by William Stowe, the crew aims to traverse some, if not all, of the capital’s 32 boroughs, but unlike many running clubs, seeks to explore the city without the pressures of all-time personal bests and peak performance.

The crew’s laidback yet determined approach means you’re just as likely to catch them have a pint down at The Runaway as you are running several kilometres through the hustle and bustle of London; so we delved a little deeper to find out more about some of the regular runners, focusing in on Reece, Cam, and Joel from Tower Hamlets. Unwittingly a hub for many of the crew, they see the Thames-winding borough as one of the city’s most unique, with its multicultural fabric providing a wide array of people, restaurants, and varied ways of life. Check our images from a day spent in the riverside borough; from Whitechapel Market to Cheshire Street and Spirit Quay.

RUN THE BOROUGHS is open for business: if you’d like to join the club or find out more head over to the Instagram and if you need running gear re-up, hit the banner below to shop the latest performance gear from NEW BALANCE.
