After dropping a joint effort on the dad runner-inspired silhouette earlier this month, ASICS Tiger and Wood Wood return with a second version of the Gel-DS Trainer OG. Marking the Danish brand’s fifteenth year in operation, the second interpretation of the retro runner strips back the Compact Disc-inspired metallic overlays of the first drop to offer a toned down follow-up that takes shape in warm grey and sandy hues.

The model retains a simple training shoe construction, with skeleton uppers offer midfoot stability with a neoprene bootie built in to create the perfect fit. Stylistically, the collab is led by a clean mesh toe box, grey suede ASICS stripes to the side, and tan leather panels to the heel. Further touches include red eyelets, olive green lace tips, yellow leather accents, and W.W. branding to the tongue.

A milestone model for Wood Wood whatever the weather, the perfectly understated model paves the way for many more anniversaries to come…
