Firstly, anything grey gets props over here. We’ve seen plenty of decent monochrome Asics releases over the past year and this one goes right to the top of the list. Varying shades of granite give the shoe a smart understated appearance, but it’s the bright turquoisey green on the lining that adds the pizazz here. The multiple perforations on the toebox, medial and lateral panels and collar allow the flavour to flood out and as GL-IIIs go, this one’s a winner.
