The SIZE? x DAVE WHITE x NIKE AIR MAX 95 DW marks the third collaboration project between the artist and retailer, this time inspired by two highly recognisable species from the UK’s native wildlife population.

Taking influence from Dave White’s ‘Albion‘ collection, which sees Britain’s native species rendered in White’s signature style, this special twin-pack utilises the Air Max 95 as a base canvas. Focusing on the fox (orange) and the rabbit (grey), detailed sections of artwork are applied on the panelling of the silhouette, drawing upon the many layers and elements from the paintings themselves. To offset the no-sew sidewall sections, a rough hairy suede sits alongside a soft canvas, adding depth and dimension to the uppers. Contrasting hits of pink and blue detailing add an extra element of style to the designs, resulting in a solid, well executed concept that should strongly appeal to fans of White’s artwork. To complete the package, the footbeds and packaging continue the theme further with complimentary styling. As artist collaborations go, this one has raised the bar considerably: we like both colourways a lot.
