Sneakersnstuff x PUMA Adventurer Pack – Release Info

The SNEAKERSNSTUFF X PUMA ADVENTURER PACK sees a duo of colourways that pay homage to the Peter’s and Erik’s days as resellers.

Since the doors at SNEAKERSNSTUFF opened, it has become one of the more renowned names in the industry, yet despite their success, SNS’s beginnings were somewhat humble. The founders, Peter and Erik, would travel over to New York and buy a selection of trainers that weren’t available in Europe. Their purchases would then be packed in large duffel bags, alongside the flat-packed boxes, and brought back to Sweden to sell on to consumers. It’s these trips that inspire their latest collaboration with PUMA.

First up is Erik’s take on the XT2+, which sports a colourway that is a nod to the old Swedish passport. Turquoise dominates the suede and leather uppers, offset by navy blue on the heel, lining and top eyelet. The navy blue also continues on to the leather dubrais, which has a star cut out, similar to the one seen on the cover of the old passports. A white midsole adds some contrast down below, with navy detailing at the heel and a turquoise outsole tying the colourway together. As a final detail, the insoles feature a custom print that mimics the pages of a passport with customs stamps. Peter’s take on the XS850 instead takes inspiration from the duffel bags that they carried the trainers around in. Black ballistic nylon covers the base layer, with matching suede overlays and leather lining, which results in a detailed but stealthy look. Finishing touches up top include Peter’s initials on the heels in place of the more traditional choice of the PUMA logo and a pop of orange on the Trinomic branded dubrais. A clean white midsole adds some stark contrast underneath, whilst a black outsole keeps things practical. The two pairs from this pack are undoubtedly very different, but both look great and would be a worthy addition to any rotation.
