The Sneakersnstuff x Reebok Question ‘Lux’ Brings Luxury To The Court Side

Stockholm boutique Sneakersnstuff were invited to help pay tribute to an iconic Reebok basketball silhouette, releasing the SNEAKERSNSTUFF X REEBOK QUESTION ‘LUX’, which is available now to purchase.

The Reebok Question was Alan Iverson’s first signature silhouette, making its debut in 1996. To help celebrate its 20th anniversary, the lads from Sweden drew their inspiration from the NBA convention of gifting luxury items to MVPs, high achievers and people who have generously supported a worthy cause. To achieve this luxury item look, Sneakersnstuff outfitted the mid-top with a ostrich-like leather upper that’s entirely cream coloured with the exception of the distinctive toe cap, which is tan. There are other tan/brown accents throughout, including the Reebok Vector logo that adorns both the lateral and medial sides, as well as the shoe’s familiar Hexalite windows. The leather upper combines with an ice outsole, reflective striped laces, and SNS branding can be spotted on on the heels and footbeds. The Question was originally designed by Scott Hewett, an artist Reebok hired based on his creative output. As legend has it, Hewett wasn’t a basketball fan and had to be told who Iverson was, but that didn’t prevent him from creating what proved to be an enduringly popular signature line.
