SNEAKS AND PEAKS BIRMINGHAM – 28.3.15

SNEAKS AND PEAKS are celebrating their second birthday by returning with their 6th event at Boxxed Warehouse in Digbeth.

They will be filling the two warehouses with stalls full of trainers, apparel, art and lifestyle solutions, including appearances from independent retailers such as KONG (Coventry & Leamington spa), ENTREPRENEURS STORE (Stoke) and PROJEKT21 (Birmingham). Some of the other confirmed traders include Size8UK, Mr Huarache, Ropes Laces, Huarache Central, Sneeky Fox apparel, Dark Circle, Solebeliever, Snob Mob and Memorabilia Lane.

The event will also be making use of the outside yard under the arches, with food being served by The MeatShack, Becky’s Bhajis and the Bournville Waffle Company, so there should be something for every stomach. Whilst you’re eating, you can take in the sight of street artist Philth and all-girl crew T&T painting the huge caravan as well as some of the most infamous graffiti writers leaving their mark on the walls. That’s most of the senses covered, and the final one, sound, is catered to by live hip-hop performances and DJs performing throughout the day with Phil Walker, Spinx, Orin and one of Birmingham’s best upcoming producers Kouben, who will be joined on stage by a special guest.

The after-party comes in the shape of a three-on-three ‘grudge match’ between Secret Walls x Birmingham versus Secret Walls x London, including top artists including Captain Kris, Trou, Foka Wolf and the Real Dill.

And, if that wasn’t enough reasons to go, there’s even going to be some birthday cake!
