Hikmet Sugoer Is Back With The Sonra Proto Chestnut

The SONRA PROTO CHESTNUT is Solebox founder Hikmet Sugoer’s follow up to the Sonra Proto Bae, his first solo silhouette from his new footwear project since leaving the retailer in 2015.

After the success of Sonra Proto Bae, the lifestyle edition runner is now ready for its second release. Sugoer likes to send a personal message, in his idiosyncratic style, whenever he’s lining up a new drop, so we’ll let the man himself take it from here:

“The first release of the SONRA proto was instantly sold out. Next drop is the SONRA proto in the chestnut colorway. It looks more like a hazelnut, but let us call it chestnut. Chestnuts are bigger than Hazelnuts..haha. The shoes are handcrafted in Germany of the finest vegtanned leather from the area. Only 100 pairs produced. Each pair is individually numbered.”

As we learned during the first Sonra Proto drop, Sugoer’s shoes are made with vegetable (Tara/Valonea) tanned leather from Germany, so they are free from heavy metals, which is better for your skin and the environment. Each pair of shoes is handcrafted and made in Germany.

The SONRA PROTO CHESTNUT will be available all the way up in Aberdeen’s HANON on SATURDAY 4 FEBRUARY via an in-store raffle that takes place from 10:00am – 17:00pm.
