A Panda, Lido, and a treat from Cactus Jack make up the coveted releases on STOCKX during the first half of May…

It’s been a crazy couple of weeks in the footwear world, with more than a fair share of sellout drops. As usual, Nike leads the way with a range of collabs, statement shoes and throwback colourways; whilst END. took us to the Lido, and adidas indulged their tech-side with another Y-3 hit. One of Nike’s harder working collaborators of late, Travis Scott has previously given us the Air Jordan 4 Cactus Jack, Air Jordan 33, and Air Force 1. First teased in 2018, the upcoming Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG collaboration quickly became a talking point thanks to its unusual reverse Swoosh. Whilst this release may go against the grain slightly, it maintains a white and black base, this time framed with rich chocolate brown nubuck overlays.

Heading back to the ‘90s, Diadora has revamped one of their revolutionary runners alongside retail powerhouse END., who bring us a luxurious take on the N9002 inspired by the Italian summer. Handcrafted at Diadora’s Caerano di San Marco factory, the ‘Lido’ brings aquatic aesthetics across premium Cervo leather and pigskin nubuck uppers, whilst the clear blue sole underfoot represents the Baltic sea, embellished with a wave effect.

First released last year via an extremely limited raffle in London and once again by an even smaller showing during the creative’s Tokyo tea ceremonies, the Overshoe is finally reaching more regular spots this month. The shoe itself is light years ahead of anything else: Fidlock buckles, red pull tabs, suede and mesh uppers… this shoe is a true piece of art.

The adidas Y-3 Runner 4D II features a one-piece, digitally-printed 4D midsole that comes with a two-layer knit upper and unique lacing system to keep your foot fly and stabilized at the same time. The black signature by Yohji is added to the lower tongue, with black 3-Stripes and minor nubuck overlays.

Potentially inspired by the “Panda Pigeon” hybrid released by Nike SB, this women’s edition of the Air Jordan 1 dons a classic white grain leather base overlaid with fuzzy black panels mirroring the endangered animal’s fur.
