The Preview with size? and The Drop Date – April 2017

THE PREVIEW WITH SIZE? series continues with this latest episode, covering April 2017 – and this time, we were there to raise the curtains on some of the forthcoming gems.

Unless you’ve been asleep for the past year, you’ll already know that the team at SIZE? have been broadcasting an excellent monthly video preview to help with your footwear purchasing plans. For the April 2017 edition, we invited Luke Matthews to join us in our London HQ to run through some of the freshest footwear arriving over the next few weeks.

In this latest episode, we take a look at the Air Max 95 in a couple of all-suede renditions, finished off with the perfect combination of white midsoles and gum bottoms. We also see the welcome return of a couple of Nike’s more unconventional styles from the archive: the Air Woven and the Sock Racer, the latter of which sees a tech update with the addition of Flyknit and a Free midsole. For those looking for something a little more understated, Steve Prefontaine’s signature runner, the Pre Montreal Racer is back in both the original vibrant red & blue colourway and a stripped back black & grey edition.

Moving away from the Swoosh, the adidas Originals City Sock returns in two colourways, again finished off with a tasty gum outsole. Converse’s Chuck 70s returns in some strong classic colourways – a definite purchase for anyone after something that will work with any number of different outfits. The New Balance 587 is a new style with USA styling and construction but at a fraction of the cost.
