The Preview with size? – November 2016

THE PREVIEW WITH SIZE? series continues with this latest episode, covering November 2016.

As usual, we get a good gander at what we’ll be spending our hard earned corn on in the coming month. This month’s preview takes on a bit of a vintage theme as the lads reveal upcoming drops that either update classic silhouettes from the ’60s and ’70s or take their inspiration from historical events. For instance, the size? duo offer a glimpse at an upcoming collaboration with PUMA, which offers a fresh take on some of the brand’s retro runners. They also lift the lid on two Converse packs that celebrate a 40-year-old classic, the Pro Leather ’76. Another size? exclusive is a trio of Vans Old Skools, which will arrive ready for the winter weather, as they’re constructed from a luxurious looking thick wool. From a project with Asics, size? reveals GEL Lyte III and V silhouettes inspired by the Soviet Union’s Lunar 3 mission from 1959 that gave humanity its first look at the dark side of the moon. The two sneakers feature materials inspired by the cosmonauts’ suits and include “Lunar 3” in Russian cyrillic written on the tongues. Finally, they reveal two projects with adidas Originals: the second and final size? pairing of colourways for the 350, as well as something that’s far more modern than the other offerings in the video, an NMD that has been bolstered with outdoor-appropriate materials in time for the winter.
