The Vans Vault UltraRange LX + Footpatrol Capture the Essence of Exploration

Since their inception in 1966, Vans have always put their athletes at the forefront of what they do. Steve Caballero’s progressive idea of the cut-down Half Cab in 1992 is a fine example, as he saw fellow skaters cutting down his signature model to make street flip tricks easier to do. So, when Patrick Gudauskas came to them with the idea for a new shoe for everyday comfort and versatility they listened again, and the Vault by Vans UltraRange LX was born.

Debuting this spring at select Vans Vault retailers, including Footpatrol, the spirit of adventure and exploration is at the heart of the new range. A brand new silhouette designed ‘to get you there’, the limited-edition range employs Vans’ next generation of footwear technology in a slim, low top design. It comes equipped with a Ultra Cush Lite sole and Vans rubber grip outer sole for ultimate comfort and support, whilst a sock-fit upper makes for that perfect fit. Offered in three classic monochromatic hues, Vans Vault’s new model is a clean and considered addition to any summer wardrobe.

To introduce the Vault by Vans UltraRange LX and capture its essence of exploration, Footpatrol spent the day with South London based singer-songwriter, Léks Rivers. From exploring his local area and digging in the record stores of Soho before winding up at House of Vans, the all-new UltraRange LX carried him all of the way.
