TRAINERS BY NEAL HEARD BOOK LAUNCH ROUNDUP

 

Last night saw the launch of the fourth edition of Neal Heard’s iconic TRAINERS book in association with LE COQ SPORTIF and yours truly, THE DROP DATE.

The Covent Garden concept store played host to the evening’s event, with The Sporting Rooster bringing some vintage original silhouettes out of the vault to help illustrate their corresponding pages in the book, which were enlarged and framed around the space to be read by all. 50 special edition book packages were available exclusively on the night, which included a custom, co-branded t-shirt, an alternate dust sleeve and a numbered shoebox. Props to Heard and Carlton Books for the product itself; the book is a superb fourth instalment to the series and a great way of bringing older heads together with the new, which was evident in the mix of attendees.

The entertainment was right out of the top drawer, with certified legends Don Letts and Fraser Moss of YMC spinning an eclectic mix of tunes all night, and with drinks provided by Jameson Whiskey a good time looked to be had by all.
