The UNDEFEATED x Nike Air Max 97: A Closer Look

With restocking rumours rife, let’s take another look at the hyped-as-hell UNDEFEATED x NIKE AIR MAX 97 that dropped earlier in the year…

News that everyone’s favourite West Coast retailer was going to be dropping their own epic spin on the Nike Air Max 97 sent the internet into a frenzy over the summer. There’s every possibility that a few of us went away empty-handed in September, and with rumours that Nike may treat us to a restock of the coveted model before Christmas, we thought we’d take a closer look at the shoe to remind us just how impressive this one is.

If you need a reminder, the design used black mesh and patent leather base on the iconic waved (and extremely timeless) design, with Undefeated experimenting with Gucci-inspired red and green piping running around the shoe’s waved design, along with an Undefeated logo boldly repeated through the red. The lateral side Swoosh takes shape with a subtle black embroidery hit, whilst the medial Swoosh and tongue branding finish off the shoe in vivid red.
