The original high-topped iteration of Vans’ first-ever signature shoe with pioneering vert skater Steve Caballero has finally made a return with this slick upgrade to the Full Cab. Originally released in 1989 under the name “Caballero”, the model was designed with input from Cab himself, who at the time was skating in basketball sneakers. His ideal shoe mirrored the style of the high-top but was designed with skate functionally in mind, with a skate shoe that could stand it’s own in pools and on the vert ramp.

The name was sawn down over time, as was the model (enter the Half Cab), but now the OG icon has been given a contemporary makeover in suede and crocodile embossed leather, as well as a golden Caballero lace dubrae for extra style points. Available in Blanc de Blanc, Racing Red, Black and the Foot Locker-exclusive, Scarab Green – you won’t want to sleep on this drop.
