VANS VAULT x PEANUTS COLLECTION – AVAILABLE NOW

 

VANS VAULT have been industrious with their capsule collections this year having produced graphic-heavy collaborations with the Star Wars franchise and Stüssy within the past couple of months. Their next team-up preserves the same sense of novelty and nostalgia of those previous projects while still producing some aesthetically excellent footwear. The VANS VAULT x PEANUTS COLLECTION is a fine homage to Charles M. Shulz’ cartoon creations.

Like the Star Wars versions, the prints applied to the silhouettes in the collection have some history behind them: they were originally created for the opening of Camp Snoopy in California and were applied to select Vans styles to be sold in the gift shop. The ‘Snoopy and the Gang’ print covers the Authentic in two pleasant pastel hues and a summery take on the Sk8 Hi. Two colourways of the Era and another of the Sk8 Hi are covered in the ‘Camp Snoopy’ pattern, which sees Joe Cool, Snoopy’s alter-ego, make an appearance.
