Vans Vault x WTAPS Anaconda Pack – A Closer Look

With the VANS VAULT X WTAPS ANACONDA PACK about to drop, it’s time for a closer look at this luxurious take on the classic Era.

Japanese brand WTAPS is known for deceptively simple, beautifully rendered garments that take inspiration from classic military and utilitarian wear. Their new Vans Vault collab continues in this vein, with three crisp colourways that reward closer inspection. WTAPS’ motto is “Placing Things Where They Should Be”, so we decided to take the serpent-themed Era to its natural habitat with a photoshoot showcasing the standout all-white colourway against a backdrop of Eden-esque foliage. The clean white sole and tonal detailing on all three pairs lets the anaconda-embossed leather steal the limelight, and up close it becomes clear that this isn’t your run-of-the-mill patterned upper: it’s a detailed, tactile thing of beauty. The classic Vans logo tab appears in red at the heel, while WTAPS’ trademark mil-spec style branding adorns the tongue and side label to round off yet another classic from the two brands’ ongoing collaboration.
