The Vans X Peanuts Collection Is a Toe-Tapping Treat

The VANS X PEANUTS COLLECTION once again celebrates legendary illustrations from Charles M. Schulz’s original comic illustrations across some of the pioneering skate footwear brand’s most classic silhouettes. Working with the HALF CAB, AUTHENTIC, SLIP-ON, SK8-HI REISSUE and OLD SKOOL – the shoe’s are adorned with illustrations from episodes from the Peanuts holiday television specials, including Charlie Brown, Snoopy, and his extended gang.

The Sk8-Hi and Old Skool are given an all over coating of character outlines in a monochrome palette of black and white, or the vivid yellow and black of Charlie Brown’s trademark t-shirt, both offset with strikethrough leather Sidestripes. The Authentic is covered in colourful excerpts from ‘A Charlie Brown Christmas’ comic strip, whilst the Slip-On’s iconic checkerboard design is dominated by none other Snoopy’s face in the white squares. Last but not least, the Half Cab celebrates its 25th anniversary year with a subtle cream and off-white build that sees the Peanuts family appearing across the model’s canvas panels.
