WOEI x Onitsuka Tiger Colorado 85 Cervidae II – Release Info

The WOEI X ONITSUKA TIGER COLORADO 85 CERVIDAE II follows in the footsteps of the Northern Liites and Wildcats II releases from Hanon in reusing the colourway from their previous Gel Lyte III collaboration on the COLORADO 85.

Back in 2012, WOEI collaborated with ASICS on a Gel Lyte III which took inspiration from a type of deer called the CERVIDAE. Three years later and that Gel Lyte III has become one of the model’s most sought-after collaborations and for those who missed out there is now an alternative option. CERVIDAE II colourway stays true to the original by combining brown and beige suede across the upper, zigzag stitching details and hits of matt gold on the branding. One of the details that makes the original Gel Lyte III stand out from the crowd is the hiking boot style lace hooks and these feature again on the COLORADO 85, but this time in the form of D-ring eyelets. This is already an impressive amount of detail, but as an extra touch some 3M touches are also thrown into the mix.
