ASICS heads back to late ‘80s to celebrate a Capcom icon, Megaman, or Rockman as he was more commonly known in Japan. A key character of the 8-bit gaming heyday, the character was known for siphoning his enemies powers after defeating them. The blue of his armour is translated onto the Gel BND, along with 8-bit-inspired pixelated Asics stripes, glossy patent leather panels and Japanese Katakana lettering spelling out the brand name. The shoes come packaged in a box referencing the original computer game, providing an authentic retro gaming feel.
