ASICS first hybrid model adds a modern touch to the Gel-Kayano 5 by incorporating the ever-popular advanced sole unit of the Gel-Quantum 360 into its construction. Relaunched in 2018 ahead of the shoes 20th anniversary, the Kayano 5 proved popular with “dad shoe” fans and sneakerheads alike. Now it returns for winter in a choice of Gore-Tex equipped Cool Mist or Oatmeal coloured constructions, which both feature prominent Gore-Tex branding down their medial sides.
