The NEW BALANCE X JJJJOUND MADE IN UK 991 adds the missing 99X link to the Montreal studio’s ongoing collaboration. We’ve had most of the 99X Series from JJJJound but here is an early look at the one you’ve all been waiting for. A predecessor of the 990v2, it was first released in 2001 and was the first NB shoe to feature ABZORB cushioning at the forefront. JJJJound decks it out in classic tonal style, featuring a mix of browns across a mesh and suede construction. It’s gone from last year’s rumour to this year’s confirmed drop, now due to land with JJJJound and New Balance in mid-February.
