The Tailwind series has slowly evolved over the decades – and the return of the fourth instalment from 1999 has made some waves this season, following the Supreme edition that dropped earlier in the year. There are a good series of forthcoming colourways for 2019 – and this Desert Ore edition follows the recently-spotted Red Orbit colourway with another summer-friendly palette. The lightweight mesh/synthetic upper features ribbed sidewalls and multiple layers for a look that takes the best aspects of ‘chunky’ and ‘sleek’ and puts them to good use.
