In the early months of 2023, teasers of the Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low in a blue colourway started popping up. Although the blue iteration of the sneaker has been in circulation for some time, Futura revealed a fresh reddish variant in April 2024. Upon closer inspection, both colourways boast abstract designs reminiscent of galaxies. Let’s get into the details!

A Closer Look at the Futura x Nike SB Dunk Low…

Known by most as Futura, Leonard Hilton McGurr is a well-known graffiti artist from the 1970s who worked mostly on New York City’s streets. Futura’s abstract style distinguished him from other artists of the time, allowing his art to remain relevant and exciting today.

The Futura x Nike SB Dunk boasts a vividly striking colour scheme, not likely to missed in a crowd! One kicks rocks a white mesh base with pops of blue and pink, while the other’s all about a fiery red vibe. The overlays show off the artists’ wild style, with his signature stamped on the tongue and heel. The first pair sports a see-through blue sole and a dark blue Swoosh, while the second one switches it up with a light orange sole and Swoosh.
