His & Hers: More Nike Air Max 98 on the Way

The NIKE AIR MAX 98 sets its sights on 2018 domination with these two new colourways…

Joining the Gundam next week will be these additional two colourways of the late ‘90s silhouette, which is currently celebrating a milestone 20 years on the shelves. An underrated Air Max model, it’s said to be the brainchild of famed AM95 designer Sergio Lozano. Sitting atop the same midsole as the AM97, the 98 adopted a more chunky performance-styled upper than other models from the line, and never really managed to woo the mainstream just as much as fellow Air Max counterparts. Even still, it’s a favourite with the heads, and the Supreme spin definitely reignited interest, so along with this year’s anniversary, we can expect to see interests in this underrated silhouette increase.

First up is the women’s exclusive Fossil iteration, which mixes up fresh white and cream hues across the mesh and nubuck construction for an understated finish. Secondly, we’ve got the OG-inspired Tour Yellow, Cement, and Midnight Navy dropping in, which absolutely oozes with throwback ‘90s style. Both dropping on the same day, it could make for a pure his and hers situation with this drop…
