Nike x Drake’s NOCTA Hot Step 2 is Bringing the Heat

If you’re a die-hard NOCTA fan, you probably recall Drake rocking those vibrant orange Nike joints on his ‘It’s All A Blur’ tour last year. While the orange kicks have already hit the shelves, shortly after teasing them, the rapper unveiled a ‘White’ version on his Instagram. And guess what? These are now slated for release! And not only that, but we’ve also got some juicy details about another colourway dropping this month.

The Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 extends the dynamic partnership between the Swoosh, and Toronto rapper Drake. Originally debuted in late 2020, the sub-label has already seen multiple collections and sneaker silhouettes, including the sought-after Hot Step Air Terra. Paying homage to the Jordan 14, Air Max, and Air Terra Humara, the Air Terra has been released in eight different palettes since its release in 2022, much to the excitement of streetwear connoisseurs.

A Closer Look at the Nike NOCTA Hot Step 2 ‘White’ (DZ7293-100)…

Drawing inspiration from turf sneakers and basketball shoes from the 1990s, the Hot Step 2 boasts a distinctively chunky framework. Somewhat similar to the Air Max 95, the silhouette’s similar shapes and lacing systems make for a unique exterior. The updated technology in the Air unit provides ultimate comfort.

The mini Swooshes, TPU overlays on the midfoot, and heel tabs on the back express chrome detailing, injecting a stealthy and sleek persona. Looking towards the tongue, the NOCTA logo sits proudly, whilst the unique outsole is fully decorated with the sub-label’s cross motifs. The end result? A contemporary sneaker that stands out from the crowd, whilst providing unparalleled comfort for the everyday. Nice one, Drizzy.
